April 14, 2012 - Wonderful Day - Wife and I took Grand Daughters, 4 & 6, on the dogsled tour. It was a great treat for all us. Of course the Grand Daughters loved the time with the dogs after the tour. I list this as one of the "Must Do" things in life. I post on TripAdvisor as BeachWizard4u. Over 10,000 people have read my reviews and I'll be posting a great review for DogSledAdventure.com

Traveled from northwestern PA to Squaw Valley the first week of March. Decided to try the dog sledding. So glad we did, we had a fantastic time. The experience was awesome. Thanks, Shawn!

Like you site, I used to live in up state New york. worked for the telephone company, for 30 years. I had a kennel of around 40 dogs and poppies, raced two teams, 8 dog and 6 dog.Once or twice tried 10 dogs. I still belong to ASDRA, and keep up on the racing, but do miss going out with a team, will always remember the good times.

My husband and I spent last Friday with Brian, Shawn and the team, along with the most awesome dogs! We loved our half day adventure into the wilderness. Our musher was Shawn and his skills were superb! We learned so much about the sport and enjoyed every second. If you are visiting the Tahoe area you must book this once-in-a-lifetime experience!

Thanks so much for giving us a highlight to our Tahoe trip. Taking a toddler to Tahoe is never easy, but she absolutely loved the dog sled ride (I've never seen her sit still for so long). Thanks again - you guys are awesome!

Thanks for an awesome time sledding. As owners of two huskies we have been wanting to do this for a long time and we couldnt have had a better time. Thanks to Dan for a great ride and for teaching us more about the sport. Keep up the good work and we look forward to coming out again next year.

Hey! Hows it going. I'm REALLY into mushing and skijoring, but I was wondering if you have lessons per se? I have an Alaskan named Moose, he is about a year and a half now and I'm still training him the cues. Give me an email back, maybe we could work out something. :)

Loved the time out with the dogs today! Thanks so much for this wonderful experience. Thanks also for all the laughs, Sean/Shawn (sp?). I posted some pictures (including those of you) on my blog. Go to the Feb 12 entry at http://cjharmony.blogspot.com to look at them if you like. And let me know if you're down for snowboarding or anything like that... I'll be back in the area quite a bit. Anyway... thanks again for the great experience! The weather was fantastic, the dogs beautiful and the sledding an amazing experience! Loved it! I'm considering coming back for the longer tour.

A dream come true! Being from Hawaii, when would we ever have a chance to dog sled? We had tried twice before in Alaska, but both opportunities got cancelled due to the weather...big disappointment! For some odd reason, this was one of my dreams...something that I just HAD to do. As soon as I heard the barking, the tears started flowing...this was the real thing, just like the Iditarod (well, almost). The experience was awesome! The beautiful landscape, the exciting ride, the most friendly mushers ... this was a once in a lifetime experience for us! We appreciated the time after the ride also, as we got to meet some of the dogs & talk story with Brian & Deanne to learn more about them, their love for their dogs, and their unique tour. Many thanks from Hawaii! Aloha from Gordon & Lisa

I am a dog-sledding enthusiast, well a dormant one anyway. I haven't had an opportunity in a long time, but I loved doing every time I'd winter in Colorado or Alaska. I've also had a little exposure in Quebec (Roberval, Lac St-Jean), Argentina (Bariloche) and of course in Siberia (Irkutsk, Lake Baykal). I would love to see you guys start something in the Tahoe Meadows area off Hwy 431 by Mt. Rose.
